The night before your first day of school, you feel anxious, you feel nervous, you feel excited, you feel all sorts of emotions before you sleep.
You wake up in the morning, take a bath, eat your breakfast, dress up.
You enter this new big school, meet your classmates and teachers and gain new friends, play with them and spend the afternoon together.
When you grow up, the difference is..
THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.
no yaya to bring you to your room..
no mommy to run to when you get scared..
no daddy to carry you when you have tantrums..
no kuya to play with you if you don’t want to be with your new classmates..
IF GROWING UP MEANS I HAVE TO LEAVE SEVERAL THINGS BEHIND,
I DON’T EVER WANT TO GROW UP.
